YOU DON’T TAKE A PHOTOGRAPH, YOU MAKE IT
Although Teri’s paintings feature many breeds of horses, it was the Draft horse that she chose to use for her impressionistic “Liberty” print. Inspired by the patriotism following the 9-11 attacks, this painting features three charging Draft horses on a background of the American flag. In December, 2001, it garnered top price at the Heritage Foundation Benefit Auction. The painting is now permanently housed at the Mid-State Fairgrounds in Paso Robles.
